"Look & Find: Old Testament Stories" Book Review

You may remember my blog review at the end of April on Look & Find: New Testament Stories."  I really loved that book and its concept.  (Think Bible story book meets Where's Waldo!)  So when the awesome folks at B&H Publishing offered me the chance to review "Look & Find: Old Testament Stories," I jumped at the opportunity!

These books are great!  They take the Bible story to a whole other level - the interactive level!  The kids can hear the story (or read it themselves if they're older) and then search for all of the items on the stories checklist.

The stories in the edition (all from the Old Testament) are full of bright, colorful illustrations.  Many of them, full of fun animals (Noah & the Ark, The Exodus, Jonah and the Big Fish).  This adds a whole other interactive level for younger kids.  You can point to each animal and ask your child the animal's name and what sound it makes.   Of, for older kids, a discussion of mammals versus reptiles, etc.

As I mentioned in my other review, these books would be GREAT for keeping impatient kids busy - in a restaurant, a waiting room, a long ride.  Lots to look at, lots to read, lots to search for!!!

I received a copy of this book, free of charge, from B&H Publishing, in exchange for my honest review.
