"Live Fearless" Adult Coloring Book Review

As I've mentioned before, adult coloring is all the rage right now!  And its not hard to imagine why.  We live in a fast-paced, stress-filled world, and coloring is a stress-reducing activity.  But adult coloring has also become very popular in the Christian community.  Bible journaling (drawing in the margins of your Bible. (You can see examples of my Bible journaling pages on my Instagram account.) With this cross-over appeal, its not surprising that Christian coloring books are becoming popular.  Margaret Feinberg, however, has gone a step further - combining adult coloring with an actual Bible study!

I love this idea!  She's done several of these coloring books, but this particular one is focused on having peace and not being fearful.  The book starts with a 2 page introduction by Miss Feinberg, discussing embracing the peace and fearlessness that God offers us. Then there's an explanation of how to use the book: read the verse, meditate on it, use your Bible to look up context, use a commentary or Bible dictionary to dig deeper, etc.

Every Bible verse has a coloring page AND a "Pray & Reflect" page.  You can color the verse - while you memorize it - and then use the "Pray & Reflect" page to just down your thoughts and the things you've learned.  This is a great coloring book for anyone who loves to color or wants to study the Bible!

I received a copy of this book, free of charge, from Bethany House, in exchange for my honest review.
