The wonderful folks at Synapses Games games were kind enough to send me a couple of games for review. And I'm so glad they did! These games are fantastic for family game nights! Let's check them out!
1.) Incubation - If you have a dragon loving family member, Incubation is the game for you! Become a dragon breeder and make your fortune! This game plays 2-5 players. I love that! As a family of 5, I'm always a little sad when a game only plays 2-4 players. Don't get me wrong. We have plenty of those and enjoy them. But its wonderful to be able to play together as an entire family without anyone having to play on a team!
8 years and up can play! That's always fantastic for our family! And usually our 6 year old plays games for 8+ with just a little assistance!
The game is beautiful! I mean, look at that gorgeous artwork! Its so inviting!
It plays in about 30 minutes! This is great to balance out younger attention spans with older players who don't want the game to end in 5 minutes! Its a perfect length!
2.) Crazy Tower - Crazy Tower is a fun stacking game! But the cards add a little extra strategy! Try your best to build a safe, stable structure using your blocks and the cards. But beware the traitor in the game! They want the tower to fall - on YOUR turn!
This game plays 1-4 players. I wish it accommodated all 5 of us, but that's ok! It plays in 15 minutes, so that makes it perfect for a quick game! And because its not super complicated, its a great game for my 3 kids to play together by themselves! It says 8+, but my 6 year old enjoys it with a little guidance! And who doesn't like watching one of these game towers fall!?! Haha!!!
