I've found another fabulous toy company and I'm so excited to introduce my readers to them! -Rubbabu! They are the world's only rubber foam toy maker! This set is so adorable! It comes with 8 colorful animals, one tree, and this fun playmat! My daughter fell in love with this set as soon as we opened it! She loved placing the animals all over the mat (and carrying them around the house). And this playset lends itself to lots of learning opportunities. My little one picked up each animal and said, "Mama, what's his name?" This gave me the opportunity to teach her some animal names that she didn't know yet. She also asked me, "Where does he go?" That gave me the opportunity to teach her a little bit about each animal. For example, I told her that snakes are often found in water, but they also like to stay in tall grass, and even trees! And we talked about how hippos like water and monkeys like trees. Then I was able to use the set to reinforce her knowledge of colors (by discussing the color of each animal) and numbers (by counting all the animals). We had lots of fun!
