As a Christian woman, I seek to live my life the way God would have me live it - with grace, humility, and modesty. I don't always accomplish that, but its my goal. And one woman who has made it her mission to help women with the difficult task of modesty is Shaunti Feldhahn. Together with Craig Gross, she's written a wonderful book on the subject, called "Through A Man's Eyes."
"Through A Man's Eyes" explores the effects of visual stimuli on men. This is a hard concept for women to grasp, since we aren't wired the same way. But Miss Feldhan and Mr. Gross have tried to explain it to us.
What I appreciate about this book is that it looks at the subject from many different perspectives. If you are single, this book is for you. If you are married and seek to know your husband better, this book is for you. If you are the mother of boys (or men), this book is for you! Feldhan and Gross explain how these visual stimuli affect men, how you can tell if your husband has an addiction or a problem in these areas, how you as a woman can be cognizant of the power your appearance holds over men, and how you can raise your sons in light of this information. This book is a must-read for every woman.
