Great Kids' Resources from Zonderkidz

I love when its time to review the newest books from Zonderkidz!  They have some wonderful resources for kids!

From Children's Bibles, to board books, to chapter books, to coloring books!  So much to choose from for all ages!  Here are a few of their newest:

Time for Bed, Sleepyhead: The Falling Asleep Book -

This book was written by a child psychiatrist.  It was written with the specific intent of lulling children to sleep.  The book is full of lovely illustrations of adorable animals.

The book takes you through the animals' day all the way to bedtime.  It is a bit long, but since its meant to lull the child to sleep, it makes since that its a bit long.  (It isn't too long for a bedtime story, though.)

Snuggle Time Psalms -

For those times when you just don't have the time - or the energy - for a longer bedtime story, this book is perfect!  The author has taken several Psalms and turned them into simple children's poems.  They're all very lovely and comforting.  And full of adorable illustrations.

Pumpkin Patch Blessings -

Fall is coming!  My favorite season!  And in our house, we love books about Fall!  So we're happy to add this little board book to our collection!  In the book, a little girl and boy go out into the outdoors and enjoy the beauty of Fall - the colors, the sights, the sounds.

The Berenstain Bears' Holiday Cookbook -

We have the Berenstain Bears' Country Cookbook and really enjoy it, so we were thrilled to see another installment.  There are lots of fun, easy recipes for you and your children to make together.

Something for all the main holidays - Valentine's Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Fall-themed recipes, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.  Kids love to be involved in the festivities, so grab this cookbook and let them help you make something for the whole family to enjoy!

Miracle in Music City -

Natalie Grant has added another book to her growing collection.  Miss Grant's books are great for young girls.  They're easy to read, full of sassy, fun girls, and even a mystery!

Garden Of Eden: Beautiful Bible Scenes To Color And Inspire -

My daughter and I have really enjoyed the Zondervan coloring books.  They're great for adults and kids alike!  This coloring book goes through the first 3 chapters of Genesis.  There are great illustrations of God's creation, perfect for coloring!

There are also verses on most of the pages!  If you're teaching your kids about the creation story, this would be a great activity to do with them!

NIRV Kids' Devotional Bible -

This is a great devotional Bible for kids. Its a New International Reader's Version, so its easy to read.  There are also short devotionals spaced throughout the Bible.  There are also "Got It" sections that give explanations of certain Bible passages.

As always, Zonderkidz has some great books to choose from!  Or you could just do like we did - and choose them all!
