I love reviewing things!  But some of my favorite items to review are FOOD!  Haha!  Especially sweets!!!  So, I've got a great review for you guys today!  And it comes from the good folks at Salem Baking Company!

The wonderful folks at Salem Baking were kind enough to send me several items for review.  And let me just start this review off buy saying they were all AWESOME!!!  I'm not lying and I'm not exaggerating.  They were DELISH!!!!  Even my husband said, "Can we order these online?"

So to begin with, they sent me several types of their Moravian Cookies...

I won't rehash the history of the Moravian cookie - although its very interesting!  But if you'd like to find out more about them, you can read a history and description HERE.  I received a package of their Toasted Coconut flavor.  Now, I had already tasted a trial size of their Meyer Lemon flavor (in my May Citrus Lane subscription box) and LOVED them, so I really didn't think the Coconut would be as good as those.  (I loved the flavor of the lemon ones!)  But the Coconut cookies were just as good!  In fact, my husband and I finished one whole sleeve in one sitting! My husband said they would be perfect with coffee, hot tea, or hot chocolate!!!  I'm not a hot drink girl, but they were also awesome with Diet Dr. Pepper!  :)

I also received their "Tastes of the Tropics" Moravian Cookie Trio.  This great set contains the Meyer Lemon cookies that I already mentioned.  I was thrilled to see more of these!  They are extremely addictive!!!!  The set also contains their Key Lime flavor and their Tangerine Orange Flavor.  And, holy cow, I loved them all!  You have to be extremely careful with these cookies because you could very easily eat an entire package in one sitting.  They are light, crispy, and have just enough citrus flavor to make them delicious without being overwhelming.

I also received 3 flavors of their Delightfully Thin & Crispy Cookies...

The first package we opened was the Peanut Butter (orange box).  My husband LOVES peanut butter cookies, so these really needed to live up to his expectations.  And they did!  He couldn't stop eating these!  He literally asked me to take the package away so that he didn't eat them all!

The next ones we tried were the Caramel Chocolate Chip (blue box).  OH. MY. WORD.  These were right up my alley!!!  Have you ever had a box of chocolates that had those chocolate covered toffee bits?  Those are my favorites!  They are delicious!  The only problem is, they are so hard to bite and they stick in your teeth.  Well, these cookies taste JUST like those! - Only they are easy to eat and they don't get stuck in your teeth!  Win-Win!

Lastly, we tried the Oatmeal Cranberry Almond.  I have to admit, these were the last ones we tried because I didn't have high expectations.  I'm not a huge oatmeal cookie fan.  And I don't like dried cranberries very much.  But I wanted to try them - for review purposes.  And I'm so glad I did!  Once again, YUM!!!  They had a slightly spicy flavor and neither the oatmeal, nor the cranberries were overwhelming.  Everything was in perfect balance.

I HIGHLY recommend Salem Baking Company!!!  Their cookies would make fabulous gifts!  But please, please, please take my advice!  If you order some as a gift, make sure you also order some for yourself!!!
