At the beginning of the year I reviewed several games from Brain Games and Luma Games. My family really enjoyed those - particularly ICECOOL! So I was thrilled to review another couple of games from them!
Pigasus is for ages 7+ and plays 2 to 8 people. In the game, you try to match incorrectly matched animals with their opposites. For example, an animal with a pelican's head and a gorilla's body would match a card with a gorilla's head and a pelican's body. Whoever recognizes the pair of matching cards first will try to grab the "pigasus" toy and
Here's what I love:
1.) The pig! - Seriously! How cute is this little pig with wings?!? And when you squeeze it it makes a grunting pig noise!
2.) Its simple enough for younger kids, but still challenging. You have to be fast! Its like a matching game, but with a fun twist!
3.) The illustrations - the made up animals are so stinking cute! My favorite is the giraffe/gorilla!
Logic Cards Kids -
This set of cards has logic puzzles for kids!
Here's what I love:
1.) Its portable! - This set can easily fit into a purse, fanny pack, diaper bag, or even a coat pocket! It's perfect for on the go! Perfect for waiting at a restaurant, doctor's office, or in line at an amusement park!
2.) Its a perfect stocking stuffer! - The small size makes this game a perfect gift to slip into a Christmas stocking!
3.) It works your brain! - These puzzles are perfect to get little brains thinking!
4.) The answers are in the instruction booklet! - If you ever get stuck or aren't sure what answer the card is looking for, the answers are in the instructions!
Final thoughts:
Brain Games does just what their name implies - gives you games to get you thinking!
