Shady Pets Card Game Review

I'm always looking for fun games to play with my family.  And with 3 kids, animal games are very popular in our household!  So I was thrilled to review Shady Pets!

Shady Pets is a game for 2 to 5 players, agers 7 and up!  In Shady Pets, you're trying to figure out which pets are "shady."  (It's similar to Clue.)

My thoughts:

1.) It's a really cute deduction game that's simple enough for even small children to play!

2.) I love that it plays up to 5 players!  - As a family of 5, I'm always looking for fun games that we can all play together!

3.) Some of the cards are a little "cheeky." - The "Expose" action card shows a turtle showing off its buttocks. Now, in all fairness, turtles don't normally wear pants.  Haha!  But the illustration is a bit cheeky. There's also a "Wild Ass" card.  We discussed that "ass" is another name for donkey and I simply called it a "wild card" during the game. My kids didn't even really pay attention.  But the company actually has a printout on their website that you can print and tape over the old cards.

4.) My kids really enjoyed it. - The kids really enjoyed the game.  And while I was concerned with the "Wild Ass" cards in the action deck, they were actually focused on the animal deck.  They were obsessed with the adorable animals!

I received this game, free of charge from Shady Pets, in exchange for my honest review.
