Buildzi Game Review

One of my kids' favorite quick dice games is Tenzi.  We reviewed this game (along with their other fabulous titles: Pairzi, Slapzi, and Itzi on our blog a couple of years ago and we thoroughly enjoyed all of them, so I was really excited when I found out they'd added another game to their collection.  Meet Buildzi

Buildzi is a fantastic block building polyomino game for 2-4 players.  You place all the blocks in the middle of the table.  Everyone takes a pattern card.  Then you race to see who can build theirs first.  Don't go too fast though - or your tower might fall!

So here's what I love:

1.) The colorful blocks! - These blocks really are pretty!  I can already tell that my youngest will want to play this game - even by herself! Or she may just want to play with the blocks!

2.) Multiple ways to play! - Everyone can use the colored side of the cards or they can use the black side of the cards to make finding your blocks a bit more of a challenge!  You can also play the alternative game where everyone gets a set of 8 "block cards." When the game starts, you turn the cards over one at a time and you must grab the block on the card and place it on your tower.  The first person to place all 8 blocks wins.

If your family loves speed games, agility games, or polyomino games, this may be the game for you.

I received this game free of charge from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
