Guys, I love a good card game! Card games are so much fun. They usually can accommodate a larger group of people. They often don't have super complicated rules, so they can be taught to new players fairly quickly. And they're usually short enough in play time that you can play more than once if you really enjoy the game. Not only that, but I also love a good food truck! Haha! I mean, food? On the move? Food that just shows up where I am? Yes please! So, what if there was a card game ABOUT food tucks? Um, yes, please! Sign me up!
Meet Truck Off: The Food Truck Frenzy, by Adam's Apple Games - the card game about battling food trucks. Compete over the best spots and venue attendance, and battle things like crazy weather.
So let's take a look!
Truck Off is a take-that, push-you-luck style card game that plays 2 to 6 players in about 30 minutes.
What I love about the game:
1.) The theme! - Seriously, this is such a unique and fun theme! You're competing with other players to land the best venue and get the most customers. The only other game that I can think of with a similar theme is their roll & write version. We own that one and love it as well!
2.) The design! - The game has a really fun artistic design! Not only is it colorful, but the art is fun and creative. It looks like paper art and I just love it!
3.) The player count! - As a family of 5, we adore any game that allows the whole family to play! And Truck Off plays up to 6 people, which means we can all enjoy game night together! Score!
4.) The play time! - Truck Off plays in 30 minutes or less. This makes it a great family game night game! Play it as an "appetizer" before a longer game or play several rounds. It's very versatile.
5.) The card/dice combo. We love card games. We love dice games. So a game that includes both is usually a big hit at our house!
