Easter is April 4, y'all!  Can you believe its almost time for Easter?!?  I can't! You couldn't pick a better Easter gift for your little one than a brand new Bible! And Zonderkidz has tons to choose from!  One of their newest is the Under The Sea Holy Bible, which just released March 1, 2016!  This hardback Bible is lovely, colorful, and glittery!

Easter Basket Ideas from Zonderkidz!

Its almost Easter!  Can you believe it???  This year is just FLYING by!  With three little girls, Easter baskets are a must!  I love placing some candy in their baskets, along with a little stuffed animal or toy.  But, most of all, I love giving them books in their Easter baskets!  Especially books that point my little ones to the Reason we celebrate Easter!  With that thought in mind, the wonderful folks at Zonderkidz were kind enough to send me several books to review!

I wrote a review of Crayon Rocks a couple of years ago.  In fact, I believe it was one of my VERY FIRST reviews!  (Thanks Crayon Rocks!)  Well, its a couple of years later and we still LOVE Crayon Rocks, so I was thrilled to review a set of their "spring colors."

Yay!  Easter is coming!!!  Easter (or, Resurrection Sunday, as we call it) is a BIG deal in our home!!!  And we love to fill the Spring with lots of fun activities.  One of those would be an egg hunt!  And for our egg hunts, we use Eco Eggs!

Its that time of year!  Easter is here!  WooHoo!  And, while I like to keep Easter about what it should be about - the Resurrection - I still like to do some fun things for my kids during spring time.  And what is more fun than an Egg Hunt!  But did you know that each year petroleum-based plastic eggs put thousands of tons of toxic emissions & landfill waste into the environment?  Thankfully, a Minnesota woman has come up with a better egg - Eco Eggs!!!

Candy Cottage Review

OK folks!  I am SUPER EXCITED about this review!  WooHoo!!!  (Can you feel my excitement?)  ;)

I recently found The Candy Cottage online and thought it was such a cool idea!  So what is it, you ask?  Well, its a no-bake, reuseable, washable gingerbread house!  WHAT!  :)

I LOVE to decorate a gingerbread house at Christmas!  So much fun!  In fact, there are times when I wish I could decorate one in the middle of the year.  Well, now I can!

The Candy Cottage is the brainchild of two really creative moms!  Not having time to do the baking required to make a traditional gingerbread house, they asked a local craftsman to build them a wooden one.  Now they've taken their idea and manufactured it into this ADORABLE sturdy, plastic cottage!

Easter At Our House (and Some Ideas for Yours)

Our Little One's Easter Basket this year -

Complete with Easter Storybook, The Parable of the Lily,
Veggie Tales DVD, Stuffed Lamb with the words "He Lives"
and Lindt's chocolate lambs

Let me start out by saying that the Easter Bunny doesn't visit our house. Yes, you heard that right. Santa doesn't come here either. Now, I know that's an extremely unpopular thing to say, so before you label me the "Worst Mother In America," let me clarify a few things...

Celebrating 12 Days of Easter - Ideas for Crafts, Activities, and Snacks

Yes, this is my second Easter post in less than a week. I can't help it. I love this holiday!!! I mean, COME ON! What could be better to celebrate than the resurrection of our Savior!!! And just as I mentioned in my previous post (which is also full of craft ideas), I really think we should give Easter the same attention that we give to Christmas. After all, if the Resurrection had never happened, then Christmas would be meaningless!
At Christmas, we often do Jesse trees or other Advent activities that count down to Christmas day with stories about Jesus' lineage and His birth. Why not do that at Easter with stories about Jesus' life? So here's another GREAT idea to help you celebrate Easter for more than just one day:
