I love a good, family-friendly game. Especially one that plays my ENTIRE family of 5. So when I saw Outrun the Bear, I knew I needed to check it out! And what could be more family friendly than a lovely little game about outrunning a bear - or at least, outrunning your other family members so the bear eats them first. Haha!
Outrun the Bear is a game for 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up and it plays in 20 to 45 minutes.
Here's what I love about the game:
1.) The theme! - This is just a really cute game! And I love the theme of outrunning a bear on a camping trip. I mean, I'd much rather play a board game where I'm trying to outrun a bear than actually go camping and try to outrun a bear! Haha!
2.) The player count! - Any game that plays my entire family automatically gets bonus points from me!
3.) The ease of play! - The game is simple, so it's a great addition to a game night because it doesn't have a ton of complicated rules.
4.) The play time! - At less than an hour, this game can be played once or more than once, so it's a great choice for game night or a break during the day.
5.) The modular game board! - Because the game board is modular, it changes each game. This gives the game a lot of replayability.
You know what they say. When you're being chased by a predator, you don't have to be the fastest person, you just have to be faster than the slowest person. So if you like good, old-fashioned fun that includes outrunning your family so you aren't eaten, then this might be the game for you!
