Easter Basket Ideas from Zonderkidz!

Its almost Easter!  Can you believe it???  This year is just FLYING by!  With three little girls, Easter baskets are a must!  I love placing some candy in their baskets, along with a little stuffed animal or toy.  But, most of all, I love giving them books in their Easter baskets!  Especially books that point my little ones to the Reason we celebrate Easter!  With that thought in mind, the wonderful folks at Zonderkidz were kind enough to send me several books to review!

This is a lovely Amish legend.  Your kids will love looking at the adorable illustrations while they learn how a robin's red breast reminds us of Jesus and His sacrifice!

If you have little princess-loving darlings like I do, you'll love this parable - about 5 royal sisters who learn that, when we serve others, we are acting like Jesus.

If you have a baby or toddler, you'll love this precious board book!  Durable enough for little hands, this little book teaches kids about God's love and how it changes us.

Another durable board book for little hands, this bedtime story, told in rhyme, reminds us that God takes care of us.

If you're a regular visitor to my blog, you probably already know how much I LOVE the Jesus Storybook Bible, by Sally Lloyd-Jones.  Its a children's story book Bible that everyone should own!  And its written beautifully!  So beautifully, in fact, that Ms. Lloyd-Jones has taken the stories and put them into this book for adults!  If you have a teenager or adult child that you'd like to give an Easter gift to, this is a great choice!  And, while you're at it, pick on up for yourself!  I PROMISE you won't regret it!

Adult coloring books are all the rage right now!  They're relaxing, creative, and fun!  And what could be better than dwelling on a Bible verse while having some creative fun!  If you've got a child that likes to color - whether they are 10 years old of 40 years old - this would make a great gift!  Add a pack of markers or colored pencils and they'll be all set!

Here's a page I colored this week...

Books are always a great gift choice.  Kids get so many toys these days (that they often don't even play with).  Give your kids some great books for Easter!  Then sit down after Easter dinner and do a little reading together!

I received these books, free of charge, from Zonderkidz, in exchange for my honest review.
