I received a copy of this book from Booklook Bloggers in exchange for my honest review.
I always love getting new books for my kids. I'm a very big believer in encouraging my kids to read as much as possible. Goodnight Ark, by Laura Sassi, is a great addition to our collection! And its especially appropriate at this time since my 3 year old recently developed a fear of thunderstorms. Now I can read this cute little story to her when she's afraid and explain to her that she's not the only one afraid of storms! Hopefully the humor in the story, the cute rhymes, and the adorable illustrations by Jane Chapman will help her forget about the storms.
As I mentioned, the illustrations are adorable! And the rhymes make this book even more fun -although the rhyme scheme seemed a little forced to me. But that didn't change how cute the book was. The story is a precious little story of the animals on the ark being scared of the storm and the tossing waves and all wanting to climb in bed with Noah. Of course, this leads to some funny situations and some pretty cute illustrations. All-in-all, its an adorable little book and its perfect for little ones.
