Its that time again! Time for school! And a new school year means new shoes! When I looks for new shoes for my kids, I go to Pedipeds first! Their shoes are approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association for promoting healthy foot development and that's SUPER IMPORTANT to me!!! According to studies, wearing the wrong footwear or ill-fitting shoes accounts for 70% of foot problems! (If you've read my past Pedipeds reviews, you've seen that stat before. But I think its SO INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT! Ill-fitting or improper shoes can cause damage to your little one's growing feet! Don't do that to them! Skip the designer t-shirts and invest in good shoes! You won't regret it!
The Pediped Flex Riddells are not only great for your little one's feet, but look how cute they are!!!
Here are some reasons that I love these shoes:
1.) They are made for maximum flexibility - which is incredibly important for your child's growing feet.
2.) They have a breathable mesh upper that allows for air flow (to help prevent that stinky feet problem)!
3.) They have a heel cushion that protects against impact and distributes pressure (because, let's face it, kids are hard on shoes and hard on their feet)!
4.) They're ultra light weight (about 5oz), so your child won't feel like their wearing bowling balls on their feet by the end of a busy school day.
5.) They have a velcro closure that makes them easy to put on and take off.
6.) They're water-safe, so wet playgrounds, mud puddles, and poolside fun are no deterrent to wearing these babies!
7.) They're machine washable!!!! Ahhhhh!!!! So even when your child lands in that inevitable mud puddle (and dances around for 15 minutes) these shoes aren't ruined!!!
8.) They are part of Pedipeds Flex Fit system! This means that they come with an extra set of insoles that actually make the shoes almost half a size!!! That means longer wear, which saves money!!!!
So, in conclusion, there's NOTHING I don't love about these babies!!! And my daughter loves them too!!!
