K&S Specialties Etsy Shop Review

I have such a hard time finding good towels for my toddler.  I could just use regular towels, but at her age, a hooded towel is still really helpful.  Unfortunately, most hooded towels are too small (made for babies, not toddlers) and very thin (which means not very absorbant).  Thankfully, I recently found K&S Specialties Etsy Shop!  They were kind enough to send me one of their hooded towels for review...

John Boos Cutting Board Review

Those of you that know me know that I LOVE to cook.  To me, its a creative exercise.  Of course, if you're gonna cook a lot, you need a really good cutting board.  Those plastic ones just won't do.  Thankfully, there's a company that makes WONDERFUL wood cutting boards - John Boos!  The awesome folks at John Boos were kind enough to send me their RAD Maple Board for review...

This board is SERIOUSLY incredible!  Its made in the USA (which is always a plus to me) and is made of Hard Rock Maple.  Its reversible - which is awesome!  Also, it has a juice groove!  How awesome is that!  Slice up oranges, lemons, tomatoes, whatever you want, without worrying about juice spilling on the floor!  Awesome!!!

The one I received is HUGE!  Thankfully, however, John Boos sells all sorts of cutting boards in all sorts of sizes!  That means they really do have something for everyone!  I used this board today and, let me tell you, its AWESOME!  There's plenty of room to chop, dice, slice!!!

Sooie Stitches Etsy Shop Review

I remember when we were expecting our first.  I got lots of lovely hooded baby towels.  They were great!  The hood is so handy and the size is perfect for babies.  There was only one problem.  Baby towels are notoriously thin.  I have no idea why, but they are!  And then, as my little baby grew into a toddler, another problem developed.  Those baby towels were no longer big enough, but I still wanted that hood!  Its so convenient for drying toddler hair!!!  What to do?  What to do?  I'll tell you!  Check out Sooie Stitches Etsy Shop!

Mommy's Bliss Review

I have to say, I'm VERY interested in finding safe, natural products for my kids.  There's just too much "junk" out there these days.  Thankfully, I've found a great company with some great natural products - Mommy's Bliss!!!  Mommy's Bliss was started by Roshan Kaderali - a registered nurse, lactation consultant, doula and midwife.  ( I love when I find products that were invented by professionals that are also moms!  Its the best of both worlds!)

Architec Appetizer Maker Review

You may rember my previous reviews of Architec Housewares.  (You can find them HERE and HERE.)  I love Architec's products!  They are fun, beautiful and environmentally friendly!  And they've recently released a brand new product - The Appetizer Maker!!! 



This thing is pretty cool!  It all snaps together, so its easy to store and you won't lose any of the pieces!  It comes with a Main Body (the large part at the top of the picture), the Cut and Carry Base (the second item from the top, which lifts the stacks out of the Main Body), the Tamper (3rd from the top, which can be used to press down dry layers), and the Spreader/Serrated Knife (at the bottom of the picture, that can be used to spread soft cheeses, condiments, etc and also used to cut the stacks along the guide lines).
