The NIrV Study Bible for kids is colorful, informative, and easy to read! It would make a great gift for any young reader who wants to study the Bible for themselves! The font is large and easy to read.
Each book of the Bible begins with an intro page. This page has a small paragraph that explains what the book is about, as well as a list of some great passages to read.
There are also several, beautiful full-color pages. Some of them are informative (like the page containing a list of the 10 Commandments)
and some of them are just beautiful illustrations of a particular story.
There are also several little additions that say "Soak it up!" These are stand out verses on that particular Bible page. These make great memory verse suggestions for your kids!
I'm very impressed with the simplicity and beauty of this children's Bible. (And I particularly love the "soak it up" portions because they are a great incentive to memorize God's word!)
