Let me start this review by saying I LOVE Sally Lloyd Jones! If you haven't read the Jesus Storybook Bible, go out IMMEDIATELY and buy a copy for every little child you know! Its wonderful! So I jumped at the chance to review Sally Lloyd Jones' Christmas book, "Song Of The Stars."
"M Is For Manger" Book Review
You guys, Christmas is coming!!! Ahhhh!!!! I'm so excited!!!! We love Christmas in our house! We go ALL OUT! Decorating, baking, Christmas movies, Christmas music, and Christmas books! We love snowmen and reindeer and gumdrops. But most of all, we love Jesus! So we try our hardes to make sure that we keep the reason for Christmas very clear in our own minds and in our kids' minds. That's why we love storybooks about the first Christmas! "M Is For Manger" is a new favorite!

"The First Christmas" Book Review
Christmas is coming! WooHoo!!! My FAVORITE time of year! I love decorating the Christmas tree, putting out the nativities I've collected, getting out the Christmas dishes, mugs, etc. And I LOVE sharing Christmas traditions with my kids! One of my favorites is giving them new Christmas books each year. While I love cute little books about snowmen or reindeer, I make sure that we have plenty of books that talk about the REAL meaning and the REAL story of Christmas. "The Firs Christmas," by Janice D. Green fits right into that category!

"Unwrapping the Greatest Gift" Book Review
I LOVE Advent books! Christmas is my favorite time of year and I love anything that brings Jesus to the minds of myself and my family. That's why I was THRILLED to get the opportunity to review "Unwrapping the Greatest Gift: A Family Celebration of Christmas," by Ann Voscamp.
"The Littlest Christmas Kitten" Book Review
I'm always looking for new Christmas books to read to my kids. I usually get several each year. And, while I enjoy cute little stories about reindeer and snowmen, what I love most are stories that refer to Jesus' birth. However, it can get monotonous to read 20 versions of "The First Christmas." "The Littlest Christmas Kitten" is a quick, cute story that solves that problem.

"The Dawning of Indestructible Joy" Book Review
Christmas is my FAVORITE time of the year! So advent reading collections and other Christmas-themed books (books that talk about the true meaning of Christmas) are very important to me! "The Dawning of Indestructible Joy: Daily Readings for Advent," by John Piper is a great addition to any advent collection!

But we also love the family time, decorations and fun! And I LOVE giving gifts!!! One of my favorite gifts to give my kids is a good book! So I'm thrilled to be able to share a few, great Christmas books!!!
The first one is Fireside Stories - Tales for a Winter's Eve...

Yay! Christmas is coming! That means PICTURE TIME!!!!! You may remember my previous review of Shutter Huggers. They make ADORABLE stuffed animals that go on your camera or camera phone to help get your little one's attention during picture-taking time. I mean, let's face it, it can be hard to get your kids to pay attention when you are taking pictures! Well, at Christmas, its gonna be a LOT easier if you have one of these...

My husband's birthday was last weekend and, as always, I remembered everything but the wrapping paper. It never fails! I always end up in a mad dash for wrapping paper when birthdays come around. I never forget to get paper for Christmas, but birthdays are always an issue. But its not a problem now that I've found LilyWrap!

25 Days of Christmas - 25 Names of Christ (An Advent Idea)
OK folks! Tomorrow is December! Can you believe it? I can't! Of course, that might have something to do with the fact that I was sick for practically the entire month of November. Ugh! Thankfully, I'm feeling better! Anyway, with Christmas approaching, I thought I'd share a wonderful idea that I found on Pinterest - an advent for the month of December featuring 25 ornaments each with a name of Jesus!
I try very hard to make sure that my little one grows up understanding the true meaning of Christmas - that Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth and was born as a baby. That He grew up, lived a perfect life, and died to save us from our sins. Now, don't get me wrong. We have a Christmas tree. We exchange presents. We have lots of snowmen decorations, etc. But we try to also fill the house with things that remind us of Jesus - like nativities, decorations with Bible verses, etc. So when I saw this idea I knew we just had to do it!

Candy Cottage Review
OK folks! I am SUPER EXCITED about this review! WooHoo!!! (Can you feel my excitement?) ;)
I recently found The Candy Cottage online and thought it was such a cool idea! So what is it, you ask? Well, its a no-bake, reuseable, washable gingerbread house! WHAT! :)
I LOVE to decorate a gingerbread house at Christmas! So much fun! In fact, there are times when I wish I could decorate one in the middle of the year. Well, now I can!
The Candy Cottage is the brainchild of two really creative moms! Not having time to do the baking required to make a traditional gingerbread house, they asked a local craftsman to build them a wooden one. Now they've taken their idea and manufactured it into this ADORABLE sturdy, plastic cottage!
