I love to share with you guys when I find a company that's doing good. This is starting to become a pattern in the business world lately, and quite frankly, I wish more companies would follow suit! We've all heard of Tom's Shoes and how they donate a pair for every pair you buy. I've also introduced you guys to Rockin' Baby Slings - a company that, for every sling you buy, donates one to a mother in Haiti and teachers her how to use it! These are companies that really catch my attention! After all, if I can buy a good, quality product AND know that the company is trying to make a difference in the world at the same time, that's a WIN-WIN! Well, today I have one of those "Companies Doing Good" to introduce you to - Mitscoots!
The lovely folks at Mitscoots sent me a pair of their women's socks and three pairs of their children's socks for review...

HALO Innovations SwaddleChange Review
I have an exciting new product to share with my readers today! If you've had a baby recently, I'm sure you've heard of HALO SleepSacks! These are fabulous swaddle sacks that don't restrict the hips and legs. (The restriction of the legs and hips during swaddling is now thought to lead to hip dysplasia.) Well, the awesome folks at HALO have done it again! This time, they've introduced the SwaddleChange Changing Pad Cover...

Toosh Review
I'm always looking for safe, natural skincare products for my kids. There are so many nasty ingredients in most products and I just don't want to use those on them. I've found that most of the really great, natural skincare lines were developed by moms who wanted safe products for their kids. And that's how Toosh came to be!
Smile Squared Toothbrush Review
I have another great company to add to my Companies That Are Doing Good list. Today's company - Smile Squared.
So what makes Smile Squared more than just a toothbrush company? Well, I think their mission statement explains it perfectly:
"Smile Squared wants to give every child the health and confidence that comes with clean teeth. For every toothbrush you buy, Smile Squared donates one to a child in need. We believe even small, everyday products, like toothbrushes, can have a big impact on the world."

PonyUp Kentucky Review
I've mentioned it so many times before, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE a company that "does good." What do I mean by that? Well, a company that has a mission besides just making money - whether its giving to charity, training others to make a living, or teaching others some special skill - I just love a company that has a purpose! That's why I was THRILLED when the folks at PonyUP Kentucky contacted me about doing a review of one of their wonderful purses! I received this LOVELY purse for review...

Stork Stack August Box Review
Its that time again! Time for another Stork Stack review! You may remember last month's review of their Forth of July box - which we LOVED! (Check out last month's review to learn more about Stork Stack and all about their INCREDIBLE Stork Stack Gives Back program.) But, if its possible, I think we loved this box TWICE AS MUCH!!!! This month's theme was "Splish Splash and Sleep Tight" - and it was packed with great items to help get my little one bathed and ready for bed (and even an AWESOME gift for me!!!!)
As always, the stork stacks come in these adorable boxes and show up on your doorstep some time the first week of every month...

Stork Stack July Box Review
If you are a regular reader of my blog, you've probably seen some of my monthly box reviews. I LOVE monthly subscription boxes! Its so awesome to get a gift in the mail every month! Well, I've found another super cool monthly box for kids AND moms - Stork Stack!
For $28 a month, Stork Stack will send you and your little one (up to the age of 3) a box filled with 5 full-sized products. Now, one thing that makes Stork Stack slightly different is that their boxes are actually delivered at the beginning of the month! For example, July's box is actually mailed (via UPS) at the end of June so that it arrives at your door some time at the beginning of July. Mine actually showed up on my doorstep on July 2, which was GREAT because this month's theme was "Happy Birthday, America!"

Leaky Collection Jewelry Review
I love finding new pieces of jewelry! I just love jewelry in general! And I've found some really great new pieces, thanks to the folks at The Leaky Collection! They jewelry is made in Kenya, from items such as fallen wood, zulugrass, and porcelain! Best yet, these items are handcrafted by women in Kenya, so the folks at The Leaky Collection are not just making awesome jewelry, but they are helping these women support themselves and their families! As I've mentioned before, I LOVE LOVE LOVE a company that gives back like that!!!
The awesome folks at The Leaky Collection sent me 3 pieces of jewelry to review. The first one was this lovely Bangle Bracelet...

Shelby's Journey Candles Review - A Company with a Purpose!
As I've mentioned in several of my reviews, I LOVE LOVE LOVE finding a company with a purpose!!! I love to shop, and if I can give my money to a company that is "doing good" I'm all for it! Shelby's Journey Candles is one of those companies! (Plus, I love the name "Shelby.") ;)
But to tell you a little more about this company, first let me introduce you to Shelby... Shelby is a young woman who was born missing multiple limbs. The doctors had no explanation for why this happened. All they were sure of was that she would never lead an independent life. But Shelby proved them wrong! Today she is very independent - studying Psychology, starting her own candle business, and learning to drive her own truck!

AllyZabba Blanket Review
AllyZabba.com sells some of the most adorable and comfy baby blankets EVER! As their website states: "At AllyZabba, we craft each reversible baby blanket with both a silky and plush fabric to provide comfort and care to each child. Designed specifically to replicate the texture of a mother’s womb, our soft, silky blankets are created for babies, newborns and children of all ages. A grateful doula recently sent over the following praise for AllyZabba’s unique creations:'You’ve got this one right. I use silky blankets with my client’s children and once the kids see the blanket they start getting sleepy. A silky blanket is the one thing I tell new parents that they actually need for their newborn.'"
This is such a brilliant idea! I can't believe I never thought of it! As new moms, we are always looking for ways to make our little babies feel more comfortable - swaddling them so they feel like they're in the womb, giving them toys that mimic the sound of mom's heartbeat, etc. So why not give them a blankie that "feels" like mommy too!!! The folks at AllyZabba even suggest that mom use the blanket for a couple of hours before giving it to her little one. - That way the blanket will not only feel like mommy, but smell like her too!
I received this lovely travel-sized blanket for review. Its 16"x14", so its perfect for the car, stroller, or just for your little one to use as a little security blanket. As your little one gets older, she can use this little blanket to tuck her favorite doll in at night! :) (The larger blanket measures 34"x28'.)
I love that the blanket came tucked in this lovely little draw-string bag - ready to give as a gift! Also inside the bag is an information card about AllyZabba blankets and how to care for them. (There's no confusion on how to clean these blankets! The card CLEARLY states: "Wash In Cold Water, Line Dry, DO NOT IRON.")

Toockies Review - A Company with a Cause!!!
I love discovering a company or business before any of my friends have heard of it! (I love to spread the word!) But more than just finding an interesting product, I really LOVE finding a company that was founded for a purpose - a desire to do some kind of good - whether that be making safe products for my family, or helping the under-privileged. And Toockies is JUST that kind of company!!!
Toockies began when the founder, Anna Marie Strauss, first saw her husband's aunt "Toockie's" knitted dishclothes. A little later, after seeing a documentary on families in India who were selling their children into slavery or prostitution just to get money to buy food, an idea was born! - Anna Marie could start a business AND help give these women in India dignity by enabling them to earn a living wage!
Toockies developed a plan to help women in India by giving them a trade - teaching them to make knitted dishclothes. Their website states: "Today we are making a difference for women and their families in Nababpur, India using a system very similar to the embroidery system my mother belonged to. The Toockie project opens an unimaginable door of opportunity for our knitters. In Nababpur, 210 women desperate for a dignified way to earn a living, are mobilized and trained to knit Toockies. A community center is setup for these women as a central location for them to come train, knit, pick-up yarn, and drop off finished toockies. Most knitters work from home, allowing them to work flexible hours."
What an INCREDIBLE idea!!! I've seen so many documentaries like that - people living in horrible circumstances - and I always think, "That's so tragic." But Mrs. Strauss did more than just have sympathy for these women - she put her sympathy into action!!!
I received two products from this AMAZING company - a 3-pack of the original Toockies Organic Cotton Scrub Cloths and a pair of Toockies Organic Cotton Circulation Gloves.
The Scrub Cloths are generously-sized and very well made. They are organic cotton and contain no chemical dyes or fibers - so they are much better for you than those nasty, chemical-laced cleaning cloths! They are also washing machine/dryer safe at any temperature AND dishwasher safe - so you have several cleaning easy choices!!!

Bathing In Grace Baby Bath Towel Review

I still remember when we first brought our little one home from the hospital - nearly 2 years ago. That was the greatest - and most terrifying - drive I've ever been on. ;) I was SO scared. I had this perfect little person and now I was responsible for her care. Her first few baths were some of the scariest moments for me. - Hoping the bath products, washcloths and towels weren't too harsh for her delicate little skin. - Praying that her little body didn't slip out of my hands when I got her out of her little tub.
Then, as she got older and I became more confident, the fear of bathing went away. What didn't go away? - The fact that I got soaked! I'd wrap one towel around my sweet little girl and drape another towel over myself - trying to avoid "the soak." But, inevitably, my towel would move out of place or fall to the floor and I'd get soaked anyway.
These towels are SO pretty and SOOOOO soft!!!!
Boy do I wish I'd had the Bathing In Grace Baby and Me Bath Towel Set back then!!! Lynette Moore, the inventor of Bathing In Grace, began her company with 2 things in mind - her sweet daughter, Grace, and the environment. And I would say they have both benefitted from these incredible towels! The towels are made from 100% Moso bamboo, which is not the same species consumed by pandas. Bamboo is naturally hypo-allergenic and antibacterial, so it helps prevent skin irritations, allergies, and odor. It can also absorb THREE TIMES its weight in water - which makes it the perfect material for an item, like a towel, that has to be washed frequently! To read more about the benefits of bamboo, click HERE.
The Bathing In Grace Baby and Me Towel Set includes 1 bib towel (for mommy) and one hooded towel (for baby). (It also contains one organic bamboo terry washcloth - as Lynette's special gift to you.) The genius of this set is that the bib towel drapes over mom - to keep her dry. But that's not all! The hooded towel actually buttons to the bib towel to keep your little one all wrapped up in luxurious bamboo cloth! :)
