Zondervan Gift Ideas for Easter

You guys!  Does it seem like Easter sneaked up on us this year?  I feel like we JUST had Christmas! But that's ok!  We LOVE Easter in our house! And we love to give meaningful gifts!  So we almost always put some great Bible-related books in our kids' Easter baskets!  This year is no exception!  And the wonderful folks at Zondervan have sent me a few of their latest to share with you!  Whether you've got a little girl or boy - or a teen that still loves a good Easter basket - Zonderkidz has something for you!  SO let's get started!

The first one I'm sharing is one of my very favorites!!!  Its the NIV Beautiful Word Bible for Girls!

As I've mentioned before (and you've probably noticed if you follow me on Instagram), I'm a Bible journaler!  I love drawing in the margins of my Bible to illustrate verses, sermon quotes, song lyrics, etc!  My 7 year old has been very interested in "coloring" in her Bible as well. And activities like this are actually fantastic for helping to really burn things into our memory!  So coloring a verse can be a great way to help a child learn it!  This Beautiful Word Bible has lots of margin notes for drawing, sermon notes, etc!  And several pages have illustrated verses that can help your daughter memorize Scripture and also give her artistic ideas for her own journaling!

And the cover is just so beautiful!!!  I was very tempted to save this Bible for myself!

The next book I'd like to introduce you to is the Adventure Bible Book of Daring Deeds and Epic Creations!

We own the Adventure Bible AND the Adventure Bible for Little Ones AND the Adventure Storybook Bible and we love them all!  This is a great addition!  It contains tons of crafts and adventure ideas (like nature walks) and adventure advice (like first aid instructions).  Some activities require adult supervision, but some do not. Each activity and craft comes with a corresponding Bible verse and a small "think about it" section that ties the activity back to God's word!  If you're looking for a way to make Bible lessons come to life for your kids, this book is a great start!

This last group of books is just so creative!  If you have a Star Wars fan in your family, these are the books for you!  The first on is the NIRV May The Faith Be With You Holy Bible!

If you have a little sci-fy fan in your household, this may be the Bible for them!  Its got great outer space-based imagery on full color pages, along with great information like: Questions About Jesus, Famous Children of the Bible, and the ABCs of Christianity.

Along with the Bible, there's also a May The Faith Be With You Devotional!

This book contains 180 one-page devotionals for kids! Each devotion has 4 small parts: Bible verse, Master Moment, Ways of Wisdom, and Use the Force.  Each page starts with a small Scripture reading. The Master Moment is a simple sentence that gives the reader a basic idea of what the devotion is about.  Ways of Wisdom is a short paragraph that tells the Scripture story.  And lastly, Use the Force is a a short prayer to end the devotional.  This devotional is a great choice for any sci-fy loving kid!

The last sci-fy related book for today is May The Faith Be With You: Bedtime Prayers!

You guys!  This book GLOWS IN THE DARK!!!  How cool is that!!!  My 2 youngest love these board books!  We have several of them from Zonderkidz! Bible stories, prayer books, etc.  But this is the FIRST one we've had that glows in the dark!!!  Each page has a little prayer/poem and a corresponding Bible verse!  I absolutely LOVE that the can keep this near them at night when it gets dark!  What better thing to comfort you when you're afraid!

I received these books, free of charge from Zondervan, in exchange for my honest review.
