I'm a homeschooling, gameschooling, food-loving, Jesus-worshiping, wife and mama. I love sharing board game reviews, plus the occasional recipe, craft idea, and book review! I believe that all board games/card games have educational value. Come check out what we play!!!
Ninja Sloths: Slow and Steady? Not When There's Treasure Involved!
Who says sloths can't be sneaky? In Ninja Sloths, these slow-moving creatures have mastered the art of stealth, and they're ready to put their ninja skills to the test! This quirky card game from Boss Dog Games combines squad building, treasure hunting, and a little friendly sabotage to create a fun competition where being a slowpoke definitely doesn't mean you can't come out on top.
Who knew stealing eggs could be so much fun? In Gulo Gulo, players take on the role of mischievous wolverines on a mission to collect eggs from a nest. But there's one little problem: the nest is guarded, and getting those eggs isn't quite as easy as it sounds!
Black Orchestra – A Cooperative Game of Resistance and Intrigue
The year is 1936. Hitler's grip on Germany is tightening, and a group of men and women are beginning to work behind the scenes to oppose his regime. Their mission is dangerous, their resources are limited, and the Gestapo is always watching.
In Black Orchestra, players take on the roles of real historical figures who were part of the German resistance against Hitler. Working together, you'll travel across Europe, gather supplies, develop your plans, and look for the right opportunity to assassinate Hitler. But you'll need to be careful. Every move carries risk, and one suspicious action could put the entire conspiracy in jeopardy.
Based on real historical events and people, Black Orchestra is a cooperative strategy game that puts players in the middle of a tense and dangerous chapter of World War II history.

This cooperative adventure game combines a traditional board game with an interactive app, bringing its fantasy world to life in a way that makes players feel like they're part of the story. Instead of competing against one another, everyone works together as a team of young magician apprentices on a quest to find four magical Moon Stones.

I'm not usually a fan of speed-type games. They're just too anxiety-causing for me. Haha! But one game that I love and that my kids love is Dutch Blitz! It's a speed game that's like solitaire in a group. Everyone is grabbing cards and trying to finish first. It’s fast, it's fun, and it never seems to make me anxious. Well, thanks to the kind folks at Devir, I've found another speed game that is right up there with Dutch Blitz in my family's estimation - Flash 10!
