Zondervan Christmas Books for Kids

We You guys!  Its almost November!  I can't believe it!  I'm usually ready MONTHS in advance!  But I still have presents to buy and I haven't gotten a thing for the hubby yet!  LOL! I can't wait to decorate!  We usually pull the tree out right before or right after Thanksgiving!  ANd I collect nativities, so I pull all those out!  And one thing that we have TONS of - CHRISTMAS BOOKS!  With three little kids, we have lots of Christmas books!  I just can't get enough!  So when Zonderkidz asked me me to review several of their latest Christmas titles, I jumped at the chance!  Let's see what's new for this year:

1.) Ready, Set, Find Christmas

I'll start with one of my favorites!  This board book is so precious!  The illustrations are just adorable!

And every page has just a few short sentences (telling the story of the first Christmas) along with several hidden objects for your child to find!

2.) Goodnight Manger

Another adorable board book, this one tells a cute and unique side of the first Christmas story.  With all those animals and visitors, it must've been hard for baby Jesus to sleep!

This cute book rhymes its way through the predicament Mary must've found herself in - trying to get her crying Baby to sleep!

3.) The Berenstain Bears and the Christmas Angel

We love a good Berenstain Bears book!  They're always so sweet and have a good message.  In this one, the kids are trying to decide what type of snowman to make.  They decide instead to make a snow angel.

After they're done, their parents use the opportunity to teach them about some the angels that appeared in the story of the first Christmas.

4.) Berenstain Bears Christmas Fun Sticker & Activity Book

As I mentioned, we LOVE the Berenstain Bears!  And we also love activity books!  So this book is the best of both!  Filled with lots of fun Christmas activities, this makes a great gift for Saint Nicholas Day (December 6th), the beginning of Christmas week, or the trip to grandma and grandpa's house!

There's even a Christmas tree that you get to decorate with stickers! So much fun!

5.) A Night Of Great Joy

Mary Engelbreight always delights with her precious illustrations.  This book is no exception! The book tells the story of the first Christmas, but instead of traditional illustrations, it uses illustrations of a kids' Christmas pageant.

Adorable and precious!!!

6.) Christmas Love Letters from God

We own the original Love Letters From God book and enjoy it, so I thought we'd enjoy this one as well! The book contains seven nativity-based Bible stories, which makes it perfect to read the week of Christmas!

And each story comes with a "love letter" from God that gives your child a little more insight into God's presence and purpose in each story.

7.) A Royal Christmas to Remember

With little girls, a princess story is always a must! We have A Royal Easter Story, so I knew we'd like this one as well.  These are sort of "modern fairytale/parables.

The story begins with the princesses' excitement over the "outward" joys of Christmas - decorating, gifts, etc.  But when danger enters the castle, they realize that material things are not the point of the Christmas celebration.

I received these books, free of charge, from Zonderkidz, in exchange for my honest review.
