Bible Journaling Together: The HCSB Illustrator's Notetaking Bible andthe Illustrator's Notetaking Bible for Teens

I started my Bible journaling adventure last year.  Its been amazing.  Its wonderful to really meditate on a passage or verse - or even a point from the Sunday sermon - and then illustrate it in my Bible.  I do mostly "creative lettering" and some very basic illustrations.  But sometimes I just can't think of a way to illustrate a verse.  The Illustrator's Notetaking Bible & Teen Bible are the perfect Bibles for days like that!

Its got pages that are very lightly lined - so that you can take notes or illustrate a verse.  But it also has over 600 designs to color!  So whether you feel like creating something yourself or coloring something that's already been designed, these Bible fits the bill!!!

As I've continued on my Bible journaling journey, my oldest has become very interested.  That's where the Teen version comes in!  Now, my oldest isn't a teen yet, but this Bible is still perfect for her.  It has a fun cover - which all kids love.

The best part is that both Bible have the exact same illustrations!  So my daughter and I can study a passage or a verse together and then color that page together!  Its a fantastic way to have a little one-on-one time with my daughter and use it to teach her God's word!

There are pages for writing or drawing and also several lightly illustrated pages just perfect for colored pencils!  These Bibles have 3 different types of illustrations to color: filigree, Scripture quotes, and illustrations of the Scripture topic for that page.  So there truly is something for everyone!

If you or your daughter are into Bible art journaling, or if you've just recently become interested, these Bibles are a great way to start!  And if you have a teenage daughter that you'd like to spend more time with, purchase them both and use this as devotional/mother-daughter time! What a great way to connect with your daughter and spend time in God's Word!!! Get them both and then go on this adventure together!

I received these books, free of charge, from B&H Publishing, in exchange for my honest review.
