The World Game Review

We have lots of math-centered games, critical thinking games, agility games, and even science-oriented games.  But we don't have tons of geography games. There's geography in some well known trivia games, but the problem with those is: if you don't know the answer, you lose.  I wanted something I could play with my kids - where they could learn but also have a chance to win.  That's when I found The World Game!

The World Game is a geography game made up of colorful country cards - filled with statistics about each country - and a large world map.  So here's what I love about this game:
1.) You don't have to know a lot of geography to win! - I love everyone has a chance to win.  Even my little ones can win this game! Instead of being based of trivia knowledge

2.) It comes with a large world map to add extra geography practice!  - Each card has number in a colored circle on the top right corner. The color tells you which continent that country is found in and the number shows you where that country is!  So you can ask your kids, "What continent is this country on?"  This will help your kids commit countries and continents to memory!  It will also help them work on using a map!

I love how many ways you can vary this game!  You can use challenge other players to recognize a flag on one of your cards. You can challenge them to find on of your countries on the map (without knowing its number).  And you can challenge them to name the capitol of one of your countries!  So many fun ways to learn geography facts!!!

I received this game, free of charge from the company, in exchange for my honest review.
