NKJV Adventure Bible Review

I was SO EXCITED to receive this Bible for review!  (Its going to be a Christmas gift for my little ones and I can't wait to give it to them!)  So here's what I love about the NKJV Adventure Bible:

1.) Its an actual Bible, not a Bible story book!  - Don't get me wrong.  I LOVE Bible story books!!!  We have probably 6 or 7 and will get more.  But I also think its great to let our little ones hear/read the stories from the actual Bible.
2.) It has colorful notes on practically every page. - There are short, informative notes on things like: "What were tithes and what were they used for?" and "When did the city of Jerusalem fall?" along with explanations of historical things like: Fountains, Measuring Lines, and Washing Clothes in ancient Israel.

3.) There are four sets of colorful, glossy pages with great Bible study helps! - There are some great pages like: "Two-Week Reading Plan on Jesus' Life," "Famous Children of the Bible," "How to Pray," and "Getting to Know Jesus."
4.) There are informative pages for each book of the Bible. - Each book starts with a page that answers questions like: "Who wrote this book?" "Why was this book written?" and "What are some important teachings in this book?"

5.) There's a subject index at the end of the Bible! - Kids can look up topics like: "Angels," "Camels," "Forgiveness," etc.
6.) There's a concordance at the end of the Bible! - Kids can look up and study words like: "Alleluia," "Build," "Eternal," etc.
7.) There's a full color, glossy maps section! - There are seven full color maps, including: "Map of the Exodus and Conquest of Canaan," "Map of the Land of the Twelve Tribes," "Map of Jerusalem in the Time of Jesus," and more!

I'd say this is a great Bible for kids!!!  My kids are still too young to read, so I read the Bible to them but this Bible will still be helpful!  I can us the notes to explain little facts to them to help them understand the Bible better.  I can also use the glossy pages to help me think of some new Bible studies to do with them - like the Two-Week Reading Plan on Jesus' Life!

I received a copy of this book, free of charge, from BookLook Bloggers in exchange for my honest review.
