"My Sing-Along Bible" Book And CD Review

I love a good Bible story book for my kids!  We have several.  My requirements are:
1.) It must be biblical.
2.) It must be engaging.
3.) It must be visually captivating.
Although the "My Sing-Along Bible" seemed to be poorly named - it isn't a full Bible and it really isn't a full of Bible "stories" - its still a great book and I was very pleased with it!

As I mentioned, I found this book poorly named.  Its not a full Bible.  Its also not really a "Bible story book" - at least not in my estimation. It doesn't really have a full Bible story.  Each "story" is no more than a few lines.  But I actually really like this book!  Its short, which is great for young children.  Its easy to read, which is great for beginning readers.  There's a Bible verse with every "story."  And there's also a corresponding song for each story!!!

The book comes with a music CD with 52 songs - one song for each story, plus a song about the books of the Old Testament and a song about the books of the New Testament.  Some of the songs are well-known children's songs, like "Who Built the Ark?" and "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho."  But there are a lot of songs I've never heard before.  Many of the songs are drawn right out of Bible verses!  This book and CD are a great resource for any family with young kids!!!

I received a copy of this book, free of charge, from Tyndale Kids, in exchange for my honest review.
