"Starter Bible" Book Review

My kiddos love to be read to!  And they love to read!  (Well, the oldest is learning to read like now.  The two youngest are still in the "pretending to read" category. Or, as my oldest says, "reading the pictures." So we love colorful, engaging books.

I was excited at the opportunity to review the new Starter Bible by Tommy Nelson Publishers. Its a great little Bible story book for younger kids.  Its got lovely, colorful, fun illustrations.  It also has a little handle.  Kids love this!

And each story is just one paragraph long!  That makes it perfect for nights when you need a quick bedtime story or for little ones who don't sit still for a long story.  It contains a lot of the typical Bible story book stories (creation, Noah's ark, Jesus' birth, etc.).  But I also like that they did some lesser used stories.  For example, instead of telling the story of Joseph's rainbow coat and his being sold into slavery (which most Bible story books use) this books tells the story of Joseph interpreting the Pharaoh's dream. All-in-all, its a fun addition to our board book collection!

I received a copy of this book, free of charge, from BookLook Bloggers, in exchange for my honest review.
