If you read my blog, then you know I'm a BIG fan of subscription boxes.  Its so much fun to get a monthly box of fun, surprise products. Well, I didn't want my husband to feel left out of all the fun, so I began looking around for some cool subscription ideas for him.  That's when I found Five Four Club.  They send a monthly box of clothing for that special man in your life - based on their style.
The folks at Five Four offered to send my husband a box for review, so of course I agreed!

The first thing we had to do was fill out their online profile.  It took about 10 minutes, but it was very helpful.  They asked all sorts of questions about what colors, sizes, and styles my husband liked.  When his box arrived I couldn't wait to open it!  But I was also nervous.  Its hard to let someone else shop for clothes for you.  But I digress.  Let's get to the clothes my husband received.  Its the middle of summer, so the clothes he got were season-appropriate.  The first item was a pair of twill shorts ($50)...

These shorts are a very dark blue color and are very nice!  My husband liked them immediately.  And when he tried them on they fit very well.  He also said they were very comfortable.  Plus, I like that they go with lots of things!  They are perfect for a summer day!

The second item he received was this button-up short sleeve shirt ($45)...

Now, when I first told my husband that it was a short-sleeve shirt, he wasn't very happy.  He does NOT like short-sleeve button-up shirts.  If he's gonna wear a short-sleeve shirt, its either a t-shirt or a polo shirt.  If he's gonna wear a button-up shirt, its gonna be long sleeves.  So he had his mind made up before I even unwrapped the shirt.  But once I got it unwrapped and looked at it, I realized it looked very nice - and not like your typical short-sleeve button-up shirt.  When my husband finally got a look at it he decided it wasn't as bad as he thought it was gonna be.  Then about ten minutes later, he decided he loved it!  Seriously!  I was thrilled!  That's one thing that I really love about subscription boxes!  Although they do often have quite a bit of personalization (like Five Four's extensive online profile form) they also help you try things you might not always try on your own.  Had my husband seen this shirt wrapped up on the shelf in a store, he would never have bought it.  But now he loves it!
