Punderdome Card Game Review

Once upon a time, there was a comedian named Jo Firestone.  She and her dad started this super cool, monthly pun competition in New York City, called "Punderdome."  FOlks battle it out to see who can tell the most puns.  Now, if you know anything about me, you know this is a competition I can totally get behind!  So I was so excited to see that the Firestones have turned their competition into a card game!

That's right!  You can now play Punderdome at home!  Punderdome comes with a set of white cards and a set of green cards.  For every round, the prompter reads the word on each card and each player has 90 seconds to make a pun with those words.  For example, if the white card says, "Aunts and Uncles" and the green card says "Grocery Shopping," a good pun would be "My aunt reproduced my cousin." (Pun example from the game.) The prompter picks the best pun.

On the back of each card, there's a "Quick Pun" to get the ball rolling.  For example: "Q: What's the most gullible candy? A: Sucker." Or "What kind of car do trees prefer? A: Stick shift."

This game would be great for a party or a family game night!  Listening to people make cheesy puns is always hilarious!  And it gets your brain moving!

I received a copy of this game, free of charge, from Blogging For Books, in exchange for my honest review.
