The preface of this book explains it best...
"The Story for Kids is unlike any book you've ever read. Think about your favorite book. What does it have in it? Adventures? Excitement? Drama? Heroes? The book you're holding has all those things and more. But unlike many other books you may have read, this story is completely true. It's a Bible that reads like a novel."For kids who are just beginning to really get into chapter books, this is a great way to get them interested in reading the Bible stories for themselves. Instead of verse numbers (which might be distracting to little minds), this book has left them out. After each chapter, there are several discussion questions. For example, after the story of Samson, the book asks the child what superpower they would choose if they could have a superpower. These questions are great for getting discussions started with your kids. The one thing that I didn't love about this book was that the illustrations are in black and white. That's not a huge deal, but I think color illustrations would be lovely.
I received a copy of this book, free of charge, from BookLook Bloggers, in exchange for my honest review.
