One of the most important pieces of equipment that any parent can have is a baby monitor. Its so crucial - especially when your little ones are small - to know what's going on in their room. And, if you are like me, you'd probably be running into that room every 2 minutes to check on them! LOL! That's why I was so thrilled to be asked to review NextStep Baby Monitors.
NextStep Baby Monitors is a family owned business that sells some of the coolest monitors I've ever seen! And since they are family owned, they've actually used these monitors with their own kids, so they only carry monitors that they would actually use in their own homes! I love a company that hand picks the items that they sell! It makes me feel that there was real work done in picking the items that they offer - which makes me feel more secure in shopping with them!

What makes this monitor so unique? Well, first of all, its a video monitor. I've never owned a video monitor before. I have to say, it makes me feel so much more at ease! When you here a funny sound coming from the baby's room (maybe a noise they've never made before) instead of having to run into the room and wake them up, you can simply look and see if everything's OK! This not only saves you from having to jump up multiple times in the middle of the night, but it also keeps you from constantly waking your sleeping baby!
But what makes this monitor REALLY unique is that its a SmartPhone monitor!!! Use your iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac or PC to monitor your baby!!! And you can use it at home or away from home!!! That means if you are out of the house you can use your phone to check in on the baby when he or she is at home with a babysitter! Incredible!!!

2.) Pan and tilt from any device - Pan and tilt the camera from any supported device including your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Mac or PC. This allows one camera to see an entire room! And digital zoom on your mobile device allows you to get an even closer look!
3.) Wireless Connections - The camera connects wirelessly to your wi-fi network allowing for easy placement around the home. And it works with any web browser.
4.) Secure Direct Connection - Instead of passing your camera's video through their servers, NextStepIP uses a direct connection between you and your camera. 7.) IR Night Vision - The camera employs built-in infrared illuminators which shine light that's invisible to human eyes.
8.) Video Recording - Turn your smartphone into a DVR. Record live video while monitoring with your iPhone, iPad or Android. This monitor is really exceptional! And it really makes me feel so much more comfortable and relaxed. You can't be with your baby every second of the day, but the NextStep IP Pro is the next best thing!
