snackTAXI Review

snackTAXI - what an AWESOME name!!!  LOVE it!!!  The snackTAXI was invented by Erin Kelly-Dill, a mom of three, who realized that she was packing over 500 school lunches a year!  That's a lot of plastic sandwich baggies!!!  Mrs. Kelly-Dill decided to try and curb her family's use of those plastic sandwich baggies and, luckily for us, she came up with an ADORABLE way to do it!

snackTAXIs are made in her family's home-based workshop by local sewers.  Mrs. Kelly-Dill is committed to keeping her company local, which I think is awesome!

The company has many different items to choose from, like snack sacks, sandwich sacks, produce sacks, napkins, aprons, and even lunch bags - that are SUPER CUTE, by the way! 



One of my FAVORITE items is their line of "Gluten Free" and "Nut Free" sandwich and snack sacks!  The sacks have "Gluten Free" right on the front which is AWESOME if you have one child on a regular diet and one on a gluten free diet!  No worries about mixing up their snacks!!!  Also, its a gentle reminder to their teachers - every time the teacher sees your child's snack sack, they will be reminded that your child is on a gluten-free diet!  I think that is SO CLEVER!!!

Another really cool item is their "Make Your Own Taxis."  Its a set of 4 snack sacks and 4 markers - so your kids can design their VERY OWN snackTAXI!!!  I just LOVE that idea!!!  Let your kids' creativity blossom! - Even with their school lunch!  :)

I received this AWESOME "Groovy Guitar" Sandwich Sack...

Its very large, so no worries about it fitting a well-stuffed sandwich!  And its also got a large strip of velcro to keep the sandwich securely inside...

The snackTAXI is machine-washable or hand-washable, so its SUPER EASY to take care of!!!  The exterior of a snackTAXI is comprised of 100% cotton, and the interior is lined with polyurethane coated nylon.  And all materials are lead, phthalate and BPA free!
