Yay! Its that time again! Citrus Lane time! Our Citrus Lane boxes arrived today and, as always, it was like my little one's birthday all over again!!!
So again this month we received 3 boxes: a newborn box, a 12 month old box and a 29 month old box. This is the last month we will be receiving the middle box. Next month we will be back to 2 boxes. But I have to say that I was pretty pleased with the products this month! Citrus Lane started the new year by announcing some BIG CHANGES. To begin with, starting next month (February 2013) they will be extending the maximum age on their boxes from 3 years old to 5 years old!!! WooHoo!!! Also, they've stopped doing the monthly themes. The reason they did this was because it will give them more freedom to pick and choose fabulous products to put in their boxes! I wasn't sure I'd like the "no themes" thing, but this boxes were pretty awesome, so I think it was actually a great choice!
So let's get right to the box contents, shall we! The first box we received was a Newborn Box (for our "upcoming blessing..." -
I was really happy with this box! My baby got:
1.) The Night & Day Discovery Toy from SkipHop ($14) - This toy is AWESOME!!! I was so excited when I saw it!!!! Its got over 10 developmental activities on it! Its also 2 sided. One side is the blue side (shown in the photo) with the owl awake. The reverse side is brown and the owl is asleep. So cute!!! Its also got a handle so you can attack it to a stroller! 4.) To-Go Disinfectant Spray from CleanWell ($4) - This handy, purse-sized spray is great! It kills 99.99% of germs, but does it botanically! No nasty chemicals in this spray! WooHoo! 5.) Trial-size of Baby Laundry Detergent from Dropps - Although this is just a sample, I'm still thrilled to receive it since I just started washing clothes in anticipation of the arrival of my second little one. :) Dropps Detergent is gentle on delicate skin, yet tough on messes - which makes it perfect for baby clothes! Its also insulated, so its great for baby bottles, sippy cups, snacks, etc! And its BPA and phthalate-free! And if you already have a lunch bag, don't worry! Your little one will still love to carry this as a backpack! But just last night my daughter found - and became OBSESSED with - a pair of sock monkey bedroom slippers of mine. She's been wearing them around ALL DAY!
